New Master Courses in Winter Semester 2021/2022

Dear Students,

We are excited to announce that we will be offering three courses for you in the winter semester of 2021/2022, two of which will be taught for the first time.

For our Master students, we offer the course Natural Language Processing for Business Analytics in which we will teach you on how to design modern language based systems using traditional methods but also state-of-the-art neural networks. After introducing all necessary fundamentals, you will be challenged to develop your own system using Python and related machine learning frameworks.

In the course Business analytics: Case studies you are challenged to work on a specific use case right away. This course offers students, who already have a fundamental understanding of BA and ML, the opportunity to deepen their knowledge by developing data-driven processing pipelines and applying modern learning algorithms to solve real-world problems from research and practice.

Additionally, we will continue teaching the course Development of Deep Vision Systems which we already taught previously in the summer semester. Here, we will teach you on how to design modern computer vision systems based on deep neural networks.

Since the number of participants is limited in all courses, it requires a registration via StudOn. All courses will be held together with my esteemed colleague Prof. Dr. Patrick Zschech by providing you with lecture contents and practical hands-on sessions. We make sure that all successfully registered students (present in Nuremberg or online) have the chance to participate.

If you are interested in our teaching program, we will be glad to welcome you to our one of courses and we are looking forward to meeting you soon.
