Today, Nicolas Webersinke had the chance to present his current work of his master’s thesis “Natural Language Processing for Finance: Analyzing Climate-related Financial Disclosures at scale” at the online seminar economics and data science at ETH Zurich. His thesis supports one of our projects in which we study corporate climate reporting using transformer neural networks, a recent innovation in the field of natural language processing. This project is a collaboration between FAU, ETH Zurich, and UZH Zurich.
